As a Black Man, as a Follower of Christ… I struggle with hearing Christian’s saying “We must love men like Donald Sterling or Cliven Bundy”, as their initial response to their blatant racist words or acts. Only thing worse is this the passive-aggressive response “We just have to pray for them” or “it’s in God’s hands now”.
God is all powerful, all knowing and nothing escapes Him. All those attributes and others that I have not mentioned are within the Christian. With that kind of power why are Christian’s acting like a bunch of punks, particularly Blacks who seem not to acknowledge or engage in OBVIOUS injustice.
Shoot, how many kids have been molested, how much money has been swindled, how many years lives have been ruin by people in the name of Christ?
Black Christian’s look to be absent whenever racism/white supremacy is seen. Is it because, if you address the racism/white supremacy in the world you also have to address your faith as Christian?
There is no question that Christ has been decolorized or to put bluntly He was whitewashed, the Bible was twisted and tainted intentionally to manipulate, control, and oppress Blacks.
Is this the reason why many Black Christian’s will not address RWS (racism/white supremacy), out of fear for their faith? They would have to not acknowledge that something is wrong but address it? Is this a case of Mad Church Disease or cognitive dissonance at its finest (worse)?
This is not and will be a dissertation or study of the origins of Christ, the manipulation of Christianity, is Christ real and all that jazz. Nope. I have made it clear in the beginning of this post where I stand.
Honestly, at this point I don’t know what the point of this post is, I just know I am tired of the intellectual dishonesty amongst many Black Christian’s who can trace the origins of the IC, explain the structural hierarchy, break down the Tithe, expose and dispose of the error of the WOF movement but talking about race and Christ…nope.
Hopefully this will create a much needed dialogue and provoke thought. Love yall!!
